We continue to work around the clock in DR Congo to identify, isolate, and refer Ebola cases as part of the c. 1,500 people seen each day at Medair-supported health facilities.

As the outbreak continues to spread, we are scaling up our response in Ebola-affected areas, recently opening a new 20-bed Ebola Treatment Centre in North Kivu province.

Having worked in the DR Congo for over 30 years, we have built strong community relationships and have a dedicated team of predominantly Congolese staff - helping us reach people more quickly with essential care.
