We are a charity which gives young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to work alongside researchers and STEM professionals and receive the advice and information they need to achieve their potential to progress to STEM careers. In2scienceUK runs an award-winning programme committed to providing disadvantaged and under-represented Year 12 students with work experience and guidanc

e in the STEM sector, promoting social mobility and diversity in the field. The programme helps young people on their journey to a rewarding STEM career through three distinct avenues which have been designed to develop their skills, expand their knowledge and build their confidence:
-1 or 2 week summer work experience placement
-Workshops on STEM careers and employability skills
-University and apprenticeship advice and application support

In2scienceUK works with students of all abilities and prioritises those who have the least opportunities available to them. The programme is completely free and students will also receive a bursary to support them on the programme.
