RAINHAM FLORAL ART GROUP
On Wednesday 8th July, myself (Suzanne) and John visited the local floral art group to do a demonstration of hanging baskets and planters. With it being late in the season, we were worried we wasn't going to have any hanging basket plants but thankfully the nursery still had some pink Bacopa and some blue and white Lobelia so these were used throughout.
The ladies were very welcoming and we had a lovely afternoon, the baskets and planters were used as prizes in their raffle. The ladies voted planter 3 with the Vinca as their favourite.
If anyone is interested in Floral Art and wants to learn more, the group would love to see some new members. They meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 2.15pm for a 2.30pm start until around 4.30pm at The Christan fellowship church 143 Rainham Rd, Rainham RM13 7RB
