Partnership For Children

Partnership For Children Promoting the mental health & emotional wellbeing of children through our Skills for Life programmes. Proven to help children develop coping and social skills.

We produce PSHE programmes for schools that teach children skills for life: how to cope with everyday difficulties, how to communicate with and get on with other people, and build self-awareness and emotional resilience. Our programmes are suitable for all children, and are evidence-based. They are widely used both in the UK and in over 30 countries around the world. We're launching 3 free activities we've developed with Prof. Clare Wood & team at Nottingham Trent University to support children’s self-efficacy & resilience. Download 👉 https://buff.ly/4jMxe36

💙 Try this simple wellbeing activity with your class!
Ask children to think of something that made them feel good recently.
It could be playing with a friend, making something, learning something new or sharing a laugh.
Then ask: "What made you feel good, and why?"
A few minutes of conversation can help children explore their feelings and notice the positive moments in everyday life. 😊

New term, new skills for life! 💙
The start of a new school year brings excitement, new friendships and new opportunities - but it can also bring worries and challenges for children.
Helping children recognise their feelings, manage difficult moments, solve problems and build positive relationships gives them skills they can use both in and beyond the classroom.
As schools settle into the new term, it's a great time to make children's emotional wellbeing part of everyday learning.
Here's to a happy, healthy and positive start to the new school year! 🌟

💙 Sometimes, the most important thing we can do is listen.
Tomorrow is World Su***de Prevention Day - a time to remember the importance of connection, conversation and making sure children and young people know they don't have to face difficult feelings alone.
Helping children develop the confidence to talk about their feelings, cope with challenges and ask for help is an important part of supporting their emotional wellbeing.
At Partnership for Children, we believe these skills can be developed from an early age – through everyday conversations, relationships and opportunities to understand and express emotions.
Let's keep talking, keep listening and keep making space for wellbeing.

🔎 Become a joy detective! ✨

What makes the children you work with light up?

Joy can be found in the simplest moments – a favourite story, discovering something new, laughing with a friend or becoming completely absorbed in play.

Our latest blog explores why noticing these moments matters, and how a simple “joy detective” mindset can help practitioners better understand children's interests, wellbeing and sense of belonging.

Read Jayne Carter's latest blog and discover why sometimes joy doesn't need to be created – it just needs to be noticed. 💛

We're excited to welcome BeautifulHuman PFC-Korea our new licensed partner in Korea! 🇰🇷
Zippy's Friends first launched in Korea in 2016, followed by Apple's Friends, and together the programmes have already supported 2,648 children.
Beautiful Human plans to train 100 facilitators to deliver the programmes in 10 pilot schools, reaching another 1,000 children during 2026/27.
It's wonderful that the team who first introduced Zippy's Friends to Korea will continue delivering the programmes, bringing ten years of experience to support even more children.
We're looking forward to this new partnership and the positive impact we'll make together.
