Delighted to share news! UK Premiere of THE HEIRLOOM, by the first-time filmmaker Ben Petrie. Facing a long winter of lockdown and combating a bad case of writer’s block, a desperate filmmaker agrees to rescue a traumatized dog with his girlfriend. Part rescue dog rom-com, part auto-fiction psychodrama, and part family scrapbook, this debut feature displays a disquieting amount of emotional authenticity, capturing what it means to be human.

Nominated for Best Discovery Award, Best Debut Director and Best Performance in a Debut, you can’t miss this outstanding Canadian film, debuting at Prince Charles on 24 June at 6 PM. Book your tickets here: https://princecharlescinema.com/film/31616667/the-heirloom/

🎨 We are thrilled to showcase a remarkable auction prize piece by the incredibly talented at the . Based in London, Oona is an artist who passionately explores language through drawing, clay making, and film.

During Grimes’ 2018 Bridget Riley Fellowship at The British School at Rome, she delved into a captivating journey—from extracting Lorenzetti tartans and cartoon details from Etruscan paintings to appropriating neorealist films.

Entitled “The Trickster,” this piece embodies a ‘boundary-crosser’ who embraces chaos and transgression. Oona’s work is simultaneously foolish, provocative, and authoritative, reflecting
what Calvino describes as “the irreplaceable outline of all human stories... where a moral personality fulfills itself traversing a ruthless nature or society.”
