The Yaa Centre is a Carnival Village Trust venue, we promote events in the realm of Carnival Arts and Caribbean culture.

The YAA Centre has been a Carnival Village venue since 2012. The rebuilt community centre and beacon was reopened as the YAA Centre (from Queen Yaa Asantewaa), The London Centre for Carnival Arts. The YAA Centre holds regular activities throughout the year and especially comes alive during Carnival season. With a remit to nurture Carnival Arts activity, the centre features four core Arts organisat

The Centre also hosts other classes and activities, from Capoeira, Afro Cuban & Brazilian Samba, drumming classes, a Saturday drama and dance club, and art classes for all ages! We also offer performance space and meeting rooms to hire - get in touch for details!
