this is the story Daisy (an alias to protect her identity ) wrote about herself, a smart studious girl that was r***d at 13 years old when she was too afraid of being beaten and tortured again by her 'Guardians' she ran away from their home and abducted from living on the street, this is why children should feel home is a safe place please read her story in her own words below.

A life story about me. (Daisy Junko an alias to protect her identity)
My name is Junko Daisy my guardians are Mrs. Julian and Mr. Kalende

Aunt Sarah told me that when my mother was going to give birth to me she was in the village, she went to stay with her older sister named Veronica in Kampala where I was born. I am 14 years old and was born from Kiara Hospital in Namugongo, Kampala.

I started my education in the nursery at Toro Primary School. I woke up every morning with my elder sister Mary to go to school and we and our big brother Alex used to come and pick me up from school and together we used to go shopping on the weekends with Aunt Veronica, they could also take me to church.

After some years my Aunt Veronica got married and since then I have not seen her. I was taken back to my mother’s village staying with my grandmother and Aunt Mary who took care of me.

One Christmas aunt Veronica told my grandfather to take me to Aunt Sarah 's sister at my mother 's house in Kampala in Makindye. I was there for a year and in 2021 my grandmother died and we went to the burial.

A little later we went back home where we stayed with my aunt Sarah’s in Kampala. When I was taken back to Aunt Sarah I was so happy knowing that I was going to stay in Kampala forever then things got to be difficult and things changed I could not go to school on time as was forced to do the housework over school, for example :- mopping and washing dishes etc. I could not rest and missed classes to without a good explain in class. I was forced to sell stockings at school and when I went home with no money, I missed lessons like joining words and pronunciation and led me perform poorly in class.

One day at Aunt Sarah's I cooked milk and they told me I lied and then they told me that I had added a lot of water which was a lie. They told me to drink all the milk the next day which was too much for me to do by the next day.

I wanted to go back to my grandmother and my mother Gertrude but at this time she was out of reach and I wanted to go to Aunt Veronica my sister to my mother but she was with her husband and I was worried they will beat and torture like at first time they did to me.

They told my mother that I had ran away from home and she went to TV and radio station to advertise when they saw me we went to the police because they had opened a case at the police after going to my mother's place in Jinja.

Thank you because they told me that you send them money where they used the money to look for me on the street. I’m so grateful and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

May Almighty God bless you abundantly Amen
Thank you for your kind support and all you’ve given me. The money you send us to the village to Aunt Mary’s for Christmas.

May God bless you and I will always remember you and love you for choosing to support me
bye bye.
Daisy Junko

Email the UN General Assembly to trigger Article 51 of the UN Charter) A lifeline for stopping this genocide by calling on UN representatives in all nations, which already support Palestine by a supermajority, to hold the line for Palestine in an upcoming fall vote to enact concrete measures to compel Israel’s compliance with the International Court of Justice. This includes a UN protection force for food distribution and civilian protection.

Holding this vote within the long-standing Uniting for Peace process allows the General Assembly to bypass the undemocratic Security Council and US veto that invariably blocks the protection of Palestinian rights.

A one-year deadline set by the General Assembly for Israel to comply with the International Court of Justice rulings expired on Sept.18, after which the General Assembly is slated to vote on specific actions to end Israel’s genocide. Lifeline for Palestine seeks collaboration with partners throughout civil society to urge our representatives to the UN to resist intimidation from the US and Israel by maintaining their votes for Palestine, and ensuring the proposed measure includes the full spectrum of essential actions including:

A UN protection force to deliver humanitarian aid, protect civilians, preserve evidence of war crimes, and facilitate reconstruction;
Comprehensive sanctions and military embargo;
Withdrawal of Israel’s General Assembly credentials;
Reactivation of the UN’s long-dormant anti-apartheid mechanism, and
Establishing a war crimes tribunal.
