Chunky Chunky is a charity organisatioin with the aim of knitting against hunger in Peru. http://chunky.bplaced.net/html

There are several events to bring people together and knit
together massive food for the guerrilla yarnbombing action,
which will be held on the 27th March 2014. Every month on the 27th will be an event where people come
together for a nice day wether they can knit or not. There will be
three possibilities on each event to learn knitting. Furthermore there is the opportunity to puchase knitted foo

d
by auction. With the donated money from the auction, there
will be build several wool farms in Ayacucho (Peru), which was
really famous for its alpaka wool manufacturing before the city
was destroyed during the war. Hunger is the result of poverty,
economically and social problems of a country. By rebuilding the
economic and social structure from its origin, people are able to
work as well as to live self-sufficient in future.
