This 20th July join us to celebrate Colombian independence day with a special tribute to the music of the amazing Queen of Cumbia and cultural icon "Toto la Momposina" by Angelica Lopez and her full band, one of the most recognized artists in the UK from Cartagena spreading Colombian folklore for many years around Latin America, Asia and Europe inspired by the traditional gaitas & Tambores, the sound of Papayera and the fusion of rhythms in the evolution of Toto's musical legacy.

We celebrate the cultural icon who brought the sounds of Afro-Colombian and Indigenous traditions to audiences around the world, Totó La Momposina.

Through cumbia, bullerengue, tambora and mapalé, Totó preserved generations of musical tradition while inspiring countless Latin artists.

Led by Colombian singer Angelica Lopez and a full live band, the evening draws on the vibrant rhythms, rich percussion and communal spirit that defined Totó’s music.

Host & DJ CarlitosNiño will bring the past and present sounds of Colombian music. Unmisable night!

*Totó la Momposina passed away in Mexico in May 2026 at the age of 85. She will be remembered forever in our hearts. Thanks for all.

Join us on Saturday June 13th at Jamboree for a sweet Saturday night with Los Bravos de la K'umbia, the most popular Chicha band in the UK with a full-power tropical– psychedelic show led by Wilfredo Avalos (Antara). Experience the roots of folklore via their superb psychedelic guitars and Latin American rhythms! Join us for a very special musical trip to the origins of Chicha, born in nature of Ayahuasca in the Amazonic jungle, brought to you by these superb musical shamans.

Showcasing the classic sounds of Cumbia and Chicha from Peru and Latin America, the band brings to life the hybrid sound popular in the 60s and 70s that blends Amazonic and cumbia rhythms with psychedelic effects, the amplified strum of surf guitars ripping across a percussive bed of conga slaps, powerful cowbell and timbal sounds, bold bass and the gurgling rasp of a guiro, played with a fierce Latin energy.

The night is hosted by Latin american ambassador DJ Carlitos Nino on screen visuals and the decks, bringing the original sounds of alternative Latin music and modern rhythms with a global twist.
