Such an honour to be invited to visit Misan Harriman’s wonderful photo exhibition along with Selma James. “The purpose of Light”, at the Hope 93 Gallery in London, is a must-see. Misan did a walk-through sharing how the movement for change has inspired his work, and what moved him to take some of the pictures. It’s striking that he was the first Black photographer to do Vogue’s front cover, yet has stayed committed to the struggle for change and diversity of all kinds. Drawing on his experiences and travels, he highlighted the importance of women and how crucial caring and resistance are. The power and diversity of our movements are beautifully represented -- rare indeed in a West End gallery.
This exhibition is dazzling and full of hope – don’t miss it!

This is a fantastic video from our sisters in Thailand who are taking part in today's International Women's strike to commemorate the 1975 Icelandic Women's Strike - when women stopped everything stopped.
