Leaving school or college can be exciting but also overwhelming. Maybe you haven’t figured out what course to take at uni yet, or whether you want to go to university at all. Or perhaps your A-level results weren’t what you expected and you’re rethinking your options. Whatever your situation, you might feel like you need some more time to decide and want something worthwhile to do in the meantime.
With ICYE UK, you can gain real-world experience volunteering in impactful social, environmental and community projects abroad. You’ll meet lots of new people, discover the world, improve your intercultural awareness, learn a language and develop skills that'll set you apart, whether you then go on to university, start training, or head into the workplace.
We currently have 6 and 12 month placements available in over 20 countries across Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe, as well as 3 - 5 month placements available in some of our partner countries. This is a chance to travel with purpose, and return home with confidence, clarity, and a story worth telling. 💙
