It’s National Volunteers’ Week 🙌

This week, we want to say a huge thank you to every volunteer who gives their time to FRBC. Whether you’re helping on the water, behind the scenes, or out in the community - you make this charity what it is.

And if you’ve ever thought about getting involved, there’s no better time to take the leap.

Volunteering with FRBC means more than just giving back. It means being part of something genuinely meaningful: helping young people from under-served communities discover rowing for the first time, protecting and restoring the stretch of the Thames we call home, and joining a club that puts people and planet at the heart of everything it does.

You’ll find a warm, welcoming community. You’ll develop real skills. And you’ll finish every session knowing you’ve made a difference.

We’re particularly looking for volunteers around two areas right now: environmental stewardship on and around the Thames, and improving access to rowing for those who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance.

If either of those feels like your kind of contribution, we’d love to have you on board.

What a weekend at The Ball Cup!

18 Youth Squad crews on the water, some brilliant racing, and a reminder of why we love this time of year.

There’s something special about watching this group come into their own. Every one of our athletes performed fantastically, with highlights including a silver medal for the J16 boys quad, and a bronze for the J15s.

A huge congratulations to the athletes, the coaches, and every parent who helped bring the weekend together.

he season is well underway - and this lot are only getting started 🖤💛

For the local community ⬇️

Unfortunately, a number of our club radios have recently been stolen. We wanted to let you know and ask everyone to stay security-conscious around the club and local area - keep an eye on equipment, report anything suspicious, and make sure kit is stored safely after use.

It’s a reminder that we all look out for each other here - and we know this community always does.

If you have any information, please get in touch with the club directly.

Good kit shouldn’t end up in landfill. And good sport shouldn’t be out of reach.

We’re partnering with - a circular sportswear marketplace that keeps pre-gamed kit in circulation and out of the estimated 100,000 tonnes of sportswear wasted in the UK every year.

All proceeds from our FRBC kitshop go straight to our Reach Pathways programme, funding fully-supported memberships for young people who need them most.

Our kitshop is live now - link in bio 🔗

Looking back on an incredible Youth Boat Race!

On Friday 3 April 2026, Fulham Reach Boat Club proudly hosted the third annual Youth Boat Race — a standout moment in the youth outreach rowing calendar that brought nearly 100 young athletes to the iconic Thames Championship Course.

Eight mixed crews, representing fourteen London state schools, raced side-by-side over the opening stretch of the historic Boat Race course from Fulham FC to Fulham Reach. For many, it was their first experience of competitive rowing, and what a stage to do it on.
