RUTH THOMAS’ FINALE GOWN TO CARRY 60 NATURAL BOTSWANA DIAMONDS

In yet another stunning display of Botswana’s creativity and natural wealth on the Miss World stage, Miss World Botswana Ruth Thomas is set to make history in a spectacular finale gown adorned with 60 natural Botswana diamonds.

The breathtaking gown, designed by a Motswana fashion designer, is currently undergoing stringent security checks before being flown to Vietnam this week, ahead of the Miss World finale this weekend.

The diamond-encrusted creation is expected to be one of the standout moments of Ruth’s Miss World journey, proudly showcasing Botswana’s fashion talent and its reputation as one of the world’s leading sources of natural diamonds.

If confirmed, this will be the first time a Miss World finalist takes to the finale stage in a gown featuring natural diamonds.

Botswana has, however, previously brought diamonds to the international pageant stage.

Former Miss Botswana queens Lesego Chombo and Anicia Gaothusi have both worn diamond jewellery, including necklaces and earrings, during the Miss World finale .

Now, Ruth Thomas is taking it a step further; 60 diamonds, one gown, and Botswana’s name shining on the Miss World stage.
