IYA by Mumsy and directed by Pupsy is not just a movie; it’s a reflection of reality.
Any father who abandons his wife and children, whether for a few months or for 20 years, is wrong. As a man, you may leave home to hustle and make money, but you should still call your family and send whatever little support you can afford. Those little efforts mean a lot.
As for Mide, some people say she was always shouting and cursing. But when someone has gone through so much pain and hardship, it can affect their mental and emotional well-being. That’s understandable.
I’m a married man, and I know that raising just one child with both parents is not easy. So imagine a single mother raising three children alone for 20 years.
Any man who leaves his children for 20 years without checking on them or supporting them has failed in his responsibility.
