St Hugh's Community Centre

St Hugh's Community Centre St Hugh's Community Centre St. Hugh’s Residents’ Association was formed in 1975 by Hilda Lane. We have worked in partnership with Affinity Sutton Homes Ltd.

In the early 1980’s the prefabricated hall was donated to us by Bromley Council. Hilda died in 1989 and the hall was renamed “The Hilda Lane Community Centre” in her memory. With the subsequent deterioration of the building, we looked for funding to rebuild the Centre. In 2007, the Community Association became a registered charity to prepare for the new Centre. to build and develop the new Centre which has a community hall, meeting / training room, office and disabled facilities. The Centre is owned and managed by its members and volunteers and doesn’t employ any paid staff. We rely on volunteer support to assist with the management,
maintenance and fundraising, as well as to deliver activities from the hall. If you think you can help please contact us

🛒 MOST WANTED ITEMS - CAN YOU HELP?

We are currently running low on the following essentials:

Tinned cold meats
Tinned Tomatoes
Tea
Coffee
Long Life Desserts
Long Life Fruit Juice
Ladies Deodorant
Multi-Surface Wipes/Spray

These everyday items make a real difference to local families facing crisis. With the cost of living still challenging for many, your donations help us provide balanced, dignified food parcels and essential toiletries to our neighbours in need.

You can donate at our local collection points across the borough or via our Amazon Wishlist.

Thank you for continuing to support Bromley Borough Foodbank – together, we make sure no one in our community goes without.
