And that's a wrap!

Finished off our amazing tour for the Smart Garden Products scholarship winners with a visit to Smart Garden Products itself. So interesting to hear about this incredible business and get the opportunity to see behind the scenes.

Thank you so much Smart Garden Products for supporting these scholarships and giving these students such a valuable insight into everything a career in horticulture can offer. They all learnt so much, have made new friends and strengthened their enthusiasm for a career in horticulture. We are so grateful to Paris, Jonathan and the rest of the team at Smart Garden Products for the time you gave us and sharing so much knowledge and information.

Many thanks to Baytree Garden Centre Taylors Bulbs Springfield Festival Gardens and Bridge Farm Nurseries for also hosting us on this trip.

If you think it looks like this group had a great couple of days - we did!
If you think we learnt a lot - we did!
If you think we saw some incredible businesses representing the best of British horticulture - we did!
Would you like to get the chance to be one of them next year? Then don't miss out - apply for a Colegrave Seabrook Scholarship. The scholarship application window opens in October, so look out for all the information later this year.

A very hot but fascinating afternoon at Taylors Bulbs marked Day 1 of the Smart Garden Products Development Tour.

Our scholarship-winning students had the opportunity to experience a side of horticulture that few people get to see. From bulb harvesting through to grading, packing, and distribution, they gained valuable insight into the entire process and the expertise behind it.

A huge thank you to Ian Clark and the whole team at Taylors Bulbs for their warm welcome and for generously sharing their knowledge and passion for this incredible business.
