With deep sorrow and sadness, The Mainstay Foundation extends its heartfelt condolences on the passing of Al Hajj Ahmed Daya, who departed this world this morning in London.
Al Hajj Ahmed was among the early supporters and contributors to the Foundation and played a meaningful role in supporting and expanding its charitable and humanitarian efforts over the years. He was a sincere philanthropist whose concern and generosity extended far beyond borders, particularly in serving the followers of the Ahlulbayt worldwide.
His support was instrumental in strengthening many initiatives, especially across East Africa and India, where countless individuals and communities benefited from projects that carried his spirit of compassion, humility, and service.
The impact he leaves behind will not be forgotten. His contributions touched the lives of many and will continue to have a lasting effect for years to come, God willing. Those who dedicate themselves to serving others leave behind more than memories, they leave behind ongoing goodness and blessed legacies that continue long after they depart.
We pray that God showers the deceased with His infinite mercy, grants him the companionship of Prophet Muhammad and his purified Household, and rewards him abundantly for every act of kindness and service he extended throughout his life.
We also extend our sincere condolences to his respected family, loved ones, and all those who knew him and worked alongside him.
May God grant them patience and strength during this difficult time.
