An Anglican church of Anglo-Catholic tradition, founded in 1843 as part of the development of the Grosvenor Estate in north Belgravia. St Paul's today maintains a traditonal pattern of worship and daily prayer, a lively musical tradition and a commitment to good preaching and thoughtful Christian witness. The congregation is as eclectic as it is welcoming - and seeks to be open to all who come fro

Our only rule? At dinner, sit next to someone you haven’t spoken to yet.

There’s something rather special about travelling together.

This summer, The Church of England is encouraging us to reminisce about the places pilgrimage has taken us - so we’ve been digging through the archives and revisiting some of our favourite St Paul’s Knightsbridge trips from recent years.

🥾 We’ve walked stretches of the Camino.
✨ Stood beneath the extraordinary Byzantine mosaics of Ravenna.
🌊 Followed in the footsteps of the northern saints on Lindisfarne.
⛪ And travelled, prayed, eaten, laughed and explored together in plenty of places in between.

Because pilgrimage isn’t only about where you go. It’s about the people you travel with, the conversations along the way, and occasionally discovering at dinner that the person you’ve been sitting three pews away from for years has a fascinating story to tell.

As the final notes rang out yesterday, we waved our wonderful choir off for a well-deserved summer break. 🎶

If you missed their beautiful musical offering at our Solemn Eucharist, you can still watch it via the link in our bio.

Throughout August, our Sunday worship will take on a simpler rhythm as we give our choir, serving team, clergy, and the many people who make our liturgy and welcome possible the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned rest.

But the doors of St Paul’s Knightsbridge remain wide open. Join us every Sunday at 11am for Mass as we continue to gather in prayer, worship, and fellowship through the summer. Daily Offices on offer throughout the Summer break can be found on our website, too.

🎶 What a joy it was to welcome the remarkable 7am Choir from All Saints' Cathedral Nairobi to St Paul’s Knightsbridge last Sunday.

Currently touring the UK, the choir filled our church with a breathtaking sound, bringing energy, joy and extraordinary musicianship to our worship. It was a wonderful celebration of the global Church and a morning we won’t soon forget.

📆 This Sunday, we’ll bid our own Choir farewell as they embark on a well-earned summer break. Do plan to join us at 11am on Sunday.

🎈Today St Paul’s Knightsbridge send our warmest birthday wishes to Her Majesty The Queen.

St Paul’s Knightsbridge is honoured to share a special connection with Her Majesty’s family. On 2 January 1946, her parents, Major Bruce Shand and The Honourable Rosalind Shand (née Cubitt), were married here at St Paul’s Knightsbridge, beginning a family story that remains part of our church’s history.

Today the Church remembers John Keble, priest, poet and one of the leaders of the Oxford Movement.

St Paul’s Knightsbridge is renowned for its role in championing the ideals of the Oxford Movement, making Keble’s presence in our quire especially fitting.

Painted by Gerald Moira (1867-1959) in the early 1920’s, Keble’s portrait is a reminder of the profound influence he had on the renewal of Anglican worship and spirituality. Through his preaching and his poetry, particularly The Christian Year, he encouraged generations to discover God’s presence in the rhythms of everyday life and the seasons of the Church.

Rising above the streets of Knightsbridge, our church has quietly watched over generations of Londoners and tourists alike.

Through our doors, the daily offering of prayer has never ceased. Through times of celebration and uncertainty alike, people have come here seeking God’s presence.

Today the Church celebrates the Feast of St Peter.

It is also the season of ordinations within the Church of England: the time of year when ordinary people have responded to a calling, are tested and ultimately commissioned to become shepherds of those they are sent to serve.

Known as Petertide, this season takes its name from St Peter, the fisherman whom Christ called from his nets, restored after his denial, and entrusted with the words:

“Feed my lambs… Tend my sheep… Feed my sheep.” (John 21)

Peter’s commission was never about status or prestige. It was a call to faithful service, to lead with humility, and to care for Christ’s flock. Every deacon, priest and bishop ordained at this time stands in that same apostolic tradition, answering God’s call to serve his Church.

Here at St Paul’s Knightsbridge, our Victorian stained glass beautifully depicts what is thought to be Christ commissioning St Peter - a fitting reminder that every vocation begins not with our own strength, but with Christ’s invitation and grace.

Today, we give thanks for the ministry of our neighbouring parish of and pray for all those preparing to be ordained this Petertide.

Karibuni, 7am Choir!

We're delighted to welcome the 7am Choir from All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi to St Paul’s Knightsbridge this July.

Known for their vibrant blend of African-inspired worship songs, traditional hymns and sacred music, the choir will be joining us at our 11am service on Sunday 19 July.
