We’re delivering 1,000 cricket starter kits across the UK.

We believe every child deserves the chance to play. That’s why we’re providing:

500 kits for primary schools in disadvantaged communities.

500 kits for community centres via our partners at Sported UK.

It’s time to change the batting order. Schools can apply now to join the movement. To get started, visit: https://kit.batforachance.org.uk/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=changing_the_batting_order&utm_content=week_2_post_1

In cricket, the batting order decides who gets the chance to play.

But in life, not every child gets that chance.

We’re changing the batting order, bringing cricket to schools where opportunity is limited.

This is just the beginning. Follow the journey and share this to help us reach more schools.

Skills. Confidence. Opportunity 🙌

On the field in Khayelitsha, cricket is about more than drills and technique.

Through the Catch Academy, delivered with Catch Trust, over 80 township coaches have already been supported, with an 80% pass rate and 25% female participation, as aspiring coaches across Cape Town gain qualifications, mental wellbeing support, and pathways into employment.

This is cricket creating opportunity — one coaching session at a time 💙

Proud to support this work alongside Gary Kirsten and the 🏏

The BFAC team spent last week in Cape Town visiting a programme we’re proud to support with Gary Kirsten’s 💙

The Catch Academy in Khayelitsha is training local cricket coaches, supporting mental wellbeing, and creating real opportunities in township communities.

80+ coaches supported already, with many more to come. Seeing it in person and meeting the coaches was truly inspiring. We also used the visit to talk with the team about how we can keep making the programme even better.

Cricket changing lives, one coach at a time 🙌
