Work and Play Scrapstore - South London The Work and Play Scrapstore is a voluntary organisation and registered charity.

Based in Tooting, SW London, we collect clean reuseable surplus art, craft, design and play materials from local industries and make them available to our members as an educational and environmentally friendly resource. Charity No 1041641

Membership of Work and Play provides a substantial financial saving as we can offer a wide range of interesting, unusual, and useful materials for art, creativ

Saturday 7th March, come and see us at The Fixery.
The Fixery is an exciting new venture for Work & Play Scrapstore. It is our first satellite unit, breaks new ground for Richmond as their first community repair and reuse hub and celebrates the completion of the Chapel restoration.
We are in good company, alongside half a dozen other waste warriors, including bike repairs, a clothes swop, repair cafe, upcycled soft toys, refill station and mobile cafe.
Find us there every Saturday, 11am-4pm. You will find our usual array of sustainable art and craft materials for schools, families, students and community organisations but on a smaller scale than our ‘mothership’ in Tooting.

Find The Fixery on Lower Grove Road, Richmond TW10 6HP. It is adjacent to the Old Burial Grounds. Access it by the footpath off Lower Grove Road and pedestrian gate through Grove Road Gardens. There is free parking or several buses service the area: 65, N65, 110 and N22, or it is a 30-minute walk from Richmond train station.
NB. Grove Gardens Chapel is within the cemetery site itself and is not the chapel building near the entrance to the cemetery as that is a private residence.
