Let Us Come Together to Complete Our Edga Before Eid Al Adha
We are reaching out to all members of our cherished community with an earnest appeal to help us complete the renovation of our Edga in Bager Bari, Shahi Edga.
*Background*
The renovation work for our Edga began back in 2022, with the vision of providing a dignified and welcoming space for all to gather in worship and community events. This project is close to our hearts and fundamental to our cultural and spiritual life.
*Progress So Far*
We are pleased to share that, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the community and the support of government funds, significant progress has already been made. Much of the structure is now renewed and the space is beginning to reflect the hopes we all share for it.
*Urgent Need for Support*
However, as we approach the final stages of the project, we are facing a shortfall of 4-5 lakh Bangladeshi taka. Without this crucial amount, we will not be able to complete the essential finishing touches in time for Eid Al Adha, one of the most important celebrations in our calendar.
*Call to Action*
We kindly urge every member of our community, near and far, to come together in the spirit of unity and generosity. Your contribution, big or small, will help bridge the gap and ensure the Edga is ready for use before Eid Al Adha. This is a unique opportunity for us to collectively honour our traditions and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
