This week marks Women in Construction Week, a time to recognise and celebrate the vital contribution women make across every part of our industry.

Real, lasting change comes from practical action and the everyday decisions that ensure women feel welcomed, respected, and value, no matter their position within the sector.

How we can support women across all roles:

✅ Inspire and encourage young women to consider careers in construction
✅ Offer mentorship and clear pathways to leadership
✅ Provide properly fitting PPE designed for women
✅ Champion flexible working and family-friendly policies
✅ Foster inclusive, safe, and supportive workplaces

Find out more how we are celebrating women in construction at the Lighthouse Charity - https://lighthousecharity.org/women-in-construction-week

The Lighthouse Charity is here to support women with emotional, physical and financial wellbeing.
