Together, you and 108 supporters have raised an incredible £9,486 so far for CAIA’s annual London Legal Support Trust Legal Walk.
When our fundraising page closes on 15 September, CAIA will receive a virtual certificate recognising our walking team, along with our final fundraising total.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us and helped us reach 95% of our fundraising target. Your generosity enables CAIA to continue providing vital free legal services to people in need across our community.
In 2025/26, more than 550 people from 30 different countries benefited from over 3,000 advice interventions, helping to secure £990,839 in financial support.
Our work prevented evictions, cleared rent arrears and helped people secure ongoing benefit entitlements, strengthening long-term financial stability and independence.
More broadly, our weekly food bank provision helped prevent food crises for families at risk of destitution, while our digital inclusion support removed barriers to accessing online benefits, healthcare and employment.
Service users report increased confidence, reduced isolation and greater willingness to seek help at an earlier stage.
Through this work, we help break cycles of poverty and address social exclusion experienced by older people, newly arrived refugees and migrants, unemployed people, and families on low incomes.
