As well as a three course meal with cheese and drinks, the British Federation is also very excited to announce that our celebration on the 31st will begin with a traditional piping ceremony and the address to the haggis, which we hope will bring a real authenticity to the event!

Happy ! We're sure that particular celebrations will be held by members of The Scottish Lodge no. 881. This lodge does right by its Scottish heritage, including by honouring Lodge Canongaye Kilwinning, the lodge which inaugurated Robert Burns as Poet Laureate. One of its members was a founding member of The Scottish Lodge and it remains a very traditional space, using a very old form of

Following the record breaking turnout for our Midsummer ceremony earlier this year, the British Federation is very happy to announce the date for our annual ceremony. Open to non-masons, this ritual is particularly rich in atmosphere and provides a more spiritual celebration to balance the more secular tone of our midsummer one. With Remembrance Sunday having just passed, today marks exactly 107 since the November Armistice which formally ended the First World War. Millions lost their lives in this conflict and millions more have done so in later ones. This includes countless Freemasons, who are remembered with the forget-me-not. May all sacrifices made stand in our memories forever
