For a child struggling at school, the problem is rarely just academic. It’s often at home too — fractured relationships, lost confidence, families under enormous pressure with nowhere to turn.

is a West London charity that addresses both at once. Founded by an educational psychotherapist, they bring children and their parents together in weekly therapist-led groups across 12 primary schools in some of London’s most deprived areas — rebuilding relationships, confidence, and trust from the ground up.

An independent evaluation by academics from Cambridge and the LSE found that every single child reported positive emotional change, and over 90% of families experienced stronger parent-child relationships.

Nearly 12,000 people slept rough in London last year — the highest number ever recorded. For many of them, the first friendly face they saw was a PINT volunteer.

is a grassroots London charity tackling homelessness at street level. Run entirely by volunteers, they’re out seven days a week across the capital — and many of those volunteers are people PINT once helped off the streets themselves.

In 19 years, they’ve distributed over one million meals. They scaled rapidly through Covid. And they do it all at remarkable low cost.

Right now, PINT is raising funds for an outreach van to reach three further East London boroughs — areas currently turning away referrals because no one can get to them.
