We support any family that needs us as long as they have a child under the age of five. Home-Start UK was first founded in 1973 and we have been working in Wandsworth since 2010. As a parent or carer you might ask for help for all sorts of reasons, for example:
Isolation and loneliness
Post-natal illness
Ill health, disability or special needs
Lone parenting
Children’s behavioural problems
Multip
le births
Bereavement
How do I get help? You can contact us yourself or ask your Health Visitor, Social Worker or GP to refer you. After asking for our support you will meet with our co-ordinator who will carefully match you with one of our volunteers who will visit you for a couple of hours a week and offer both emotional support and practical help. Our page
