On Friday 20 November, renowned innovators of classical Arabic music, Oxford Maqam, bring live renditions of music steeped in Arab heritage to our beautiful venue.

Described as “revolutionary” by Songlines for their debut album The Wax Cylinder Recordings, this traditional Arabic takht ensemble, with support from Syrian singer Rama Alcoutlabi, is a must-see in this year’s EFG London Jazz Festival programme.
