🔔 An important update from the Ethical Journalism Network:

Following an extensive search for a long-term institutional partner, EJN has been formally dissolved as a UK-registered charity (27 January 2026) and is now on the move!

The EJN name, website, publications and intellectual property are transferring to founder Aidan White, who will relaunch EJN as a new international NGO based in Brussels in 2026.

The mission continues.

We need to challenge political interference and corporate neglect of news media and put professional independence, quality journalism and ethics at the heart of a strategy to build public trust through self-assessment and transparency. The proposals and recommendations set out here provide a viable roadmap for media in the Balkans to confront and overcome the crisis of sustainability and declining public trust.”
