CARE Pakistan Empowerment through Education. Since its inception in 1988, CARE has grown to become one of Pakistan's leading education foundations.

In 1988, CARE was approached by the Pakistani government to initially adopt 10 failing public schools. Since then the number of schools has increased dramatically and the unique public/private partnership allows CARE to save on high land and construction costs, and channel more of our funding directly to the students and teachers. CARE schools provide a holistic approach to education; we fund and

organise English lessons for students in the ACCESS classes, enterprise development for the local community, teacher training, and career counselling.
