Welcare is a family support charity working with families and children up to the age of 13 in South London and East Surrey. The focus of our work is to provide practical and emotional support and advice, individual one-to-one work and group work programmes. We work alongside parents and carers helping them use their strengths and skills to nurture secure and confident children.

👨‍👧 Caring Dads™ Programme – Now Taking Referrals

Welcare is delivering a 17-week Caring Dads™ group programme designed to strengthen the relationship between fathers and their children.

📅 Start Date: Tuesday 22nd September 2026
🕕 Time: 6–8pm
📍 Location: Welcare House, 24 Warwick Road, Redhill, RH1 1BU

💷 Cost: £1,600 per participant (includes final report)
✅ 5 FREE places available for fathers living in the Reigate & Banstead area
💬 We may also be able to offer reduced fees for those experiencing financial difficulties.

This evidence-based programme supports fathers to make positive changes and improve outcomes for their children.

Supporting families to move forward after domestic abuse 💚

Sita’s experience shows how important it is to feel heard without judgement. Through our Domestic Abuse Recovery work, we support children and their non‑abusive parent to understand the impact of trauma, make sense of their experiences, and begin to rebuild their lives together.

This work helps families strengthen communication, rebuild healthy boundaries, and nurture safe, supportive relationships. It also plays a vital role in breaking cycles of generational abuse – helping parents and children create new, positive patterns that support long‑term wellbeing and give children the chance to thrive.

By focusing on each family’s strengths, we help build resilience, confidence, and brighter futures. Your support means we can continue to stand alongside families on their journey of recovery. 💚
