CWU Young Workers will be attending the Annual Durham Miners Gala on 11th July 2026!

Join us for the world’s greatest celebration of community, international solidarity and working class life!

We will be setting up a CWU camp in the Official Gala campsite on nights of Friday 10th and Saturday 11th July to take part in the parade and events on the Saturday.

We invite any interested CWU Young members to come along and join us for this unique expression of trade union solidarity.

CWU Young Workers Education Event 2026 was held over the weekend and once again was a great success. We had interesting and productive talks and workshops on workplace issues, international solidarity, AI, Organising, Mental Health and how we challenge racism and the far right.

Massive thank you to all our guest speakers, and to all attendees for your engagement and contributions over the weekend.

Thanks also to out National Young Workers Committee for lining up a excellent programme of events and of course for facilitating our much loved mock conference on the Sunday which was great fun as usual!

Solidarity forever, hope to see you all at the next event. Watch this space!
