Creating sporting opportunities for young people, families, schools, clubs and communities across Haringey We take part in the London Youth Games, Mini Marathon, London Marathon and we also run sports camps in half term and summer !

has excelled at the London Youth Games again, with the borough’s children & young people winning the Jubilee Trophy for the overall title & retaining the Para Games crown too.

Our borough has enjoyed an incredible season, with gold medals in boys’ cricket, inclusive basketball and tennis. We also finished first in boys’ & girls’ para athletics and boys’ & girls’ para football, as well as claiming the runners-up spot with silver medals in the U13 girls’ football and indoor rowing.

A string of outstanding and strong results then ensured (1,024 points) dethroned reigning champions Bromley (1,022 points) by just two points, with Havering (973 points) rounding off the podium placings in third. Last year’s runners-up Richmond upon Thames (946 points) and our neighbours Hackney (924 points) finished fourth and fifth respectively.

This result means haven’t finished outside of the top three in any of the last six years of active competition (First: 2022, 2023 & 2026, Second: 2019 & 2024, Third: 2025).

Our formidable form in youth-level sport is further evidenced by our young athletes with disabilities/SEND reclaiming the Para Games title having won the competition for the very first time ever only last year.

LYG33 is a youth engagement and leadership programme that empowers young Londoners to influence the future of London Youth Games and sport.

Through the programme, participants develop confidence, leadership skills, and a strong sense of community, while building meaningful relationships with peers, coaches, and mentors. They gain valuable life experience that supports their future ambitions both in and beyond sport.

LYG are committed to ensuring young people play an active role in decision-making. LYG33 members work closely with senior leaders, helping to shape the organisation and ensure our initiatives remain relevant, inclusive, and accessible.

✨ SAVE THE DATE! ✨

Join us on Friday 23 April 2027 for the TCS Mini London Marathon.

In a first for the event, our schools participants will take centre stage on a Friday, kicking off the celebrations for the historic 2027 Double TCS London Marathon Weekend.

Thousands of young people, one incredible day, and memories to last a lifetime. It's going to be a day filled with achievement, excitement, pride and plenty of smiles.

If you're hoping to take part in the TCS Mini London Marathon Championships, we're still finalising plans and will share full details in due course.
