Have you done the Bermondsey Festive Windows Trail 2025?
From 1–25 December, 25 local windows will be transformed into magical illuminated artworks — each one created by local schools, charities, artists, and independent businesses.
Every day, a new window will be revealed on social media as part of the Bermondsey Advent Windows Trail, inspired by the area’s rich history as “The Larder of London.”
You can follow the daily unveilings online, then wrap up warm, grab a hot drink, and explore the trail yourself.
It’s free, festive, and perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves Bermondsey’s creative spirit.
Follow us on Instagram (bluebermondsey) to follow our advent calendar featuring windows displays for the trail.

Live music in Bermondsey /Tue 2 Dec, 7:30 pm / U - 'ARCHENFIELD' Launch + Memotone at Bermondsey Social Club.
U performs new album ARCHENFIELD, a personal collection of ambient music and found sound that examines the relationship between geographical space and aural histories. Support from Bristol’s memotone.
Working as an archivist, collagist and chronicler through careful sonic curation, U’s output defies categorisation, with past releases on imprints such as ManMakeMusic, Where To Now?, Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound, Technicolour and Lex.
An MPC is the main tool of his trade but used in the fashion of someone who has been twisting around and limboing beneath the boundaries of its possibilities for the entire of his recording life.
On new album ARCHENFIELD U mined a wealth of recorded material relevant to the area to make this record. With a nod to traditional music, U created beautifully atmospheric sound pieces that are often mixed with meticulously researched snippets from film, TV, YouTube and found home recordings to create a stirring reflection on local history and broader themes of how we interact, or even fail to interact, with English folklore today.
memotone is one alias of Will Yates, a composer and musician working at the fringes of the music industry. Leaning into jazz, folk, contemporary classical, ambient and esoteric fourth-world music. Memotone's live show is part pre-prepared/part improvised performance, using a mix of live instrumentation, samplers, effects and loopers to build a window into his singular soundworld.

This is the official page for Blue Bermondsey Business Improvement District (BID). We represent local businesses in the BID area and we work hard to make The Blue, the place to live, work and visit; we are the voice of local business community.
What is The Blue?
The Blue is in the heart of Bermondsey but the strange thing is you will not find the Blue on any map (well, you do nowadays in Google maps thanks to us). Visit The Blue and you will find many independent shops, hairdressers, pubs, supermarkets, fashion and convenience stores and all located along the high street of Bermondsey, Southwark Park Road
Along Southwark Park Road, you will find Market Place and the Blue Market which is the hub of the community. Alongside market stall there are cafes, a butcher, the Blue Anchor Library and a community hall as well as offices for Big Local Works and Citizens Bureau Advice both providing support to the people in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe
In addition to the High Street, Blue Bermondsey Business Improvement District encompasses many other surrounding streets such as Clements Road and Drummond Road around The Biscuit Factory, an important office and business centre run by Workspace Group. A portion of the site is owned by Grosvenor and it will be transformed in the coming years with new homes and new commercial premises.
A short distance on foot and you’ll find Raymouth and Almond roads, home to micro breweries, automobile businesses, logistics, design and much more. Three business estates in Rotherhithe New Road and Galleywall road also form part of the BID area. For full details, visit our website www.bluebermondsey.co.uk
In short, there’s so much to discover about this part of Bermondsey. As in many other places in London, we are going through many changes; above all we believe in the power of community to be in charge of those changes and make The Blue Bermondsey the best place to live, visit and work.
