IMAP sincerely believes in this and that play is intrinsically motivated through a biological drive that is from within. Thus, without play children and young people’s development of self and the world we live in would be non-existent. IMAP’s aim is to raise awareness and understanding in the community and in those who work in thi

s sector of the importance of play and playfulness in children and young people's growth, development and fulfilment of self-actualisation. IMAP also endeavours to support children and young people’s biological drive to play through providing innovative and holistic projects and services that create playful environments and experiences. These projects/services will support children and young people in their well-being, individuality, confidence and attainment of their goals.

The amazing IMAP Playful Estates of Mind team is doing one last push to make sure no one misses out on The BiG Play Date — a FREE community event packed with creativity, fun and playful energy for children, young people and adults. Because play is for all ages!

📅 Saturday 21st February 2026
📍 Ponders End Youth Hub, EN3 4PX

Session 1: Ages 4–10
🕑 2pm–4pm
A free play space to explore, get creative and join a fun percussion session.
(Younger children welcome with a supervising adult.)

Session 2: Ages 11–17
🕔 5pm–7pm
Try something new, explore different play activities, join playful TikTok trends and enjoy exciting taster workshops.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Open to children, young people, parents, guardians and kinship families - as long as you’re ready to stay & play!

Join us for a FREE intergenerational play event created by our Playful Estates of Mind participants. Expect fun, games, and playful activities for all ages!

Ok so we made it!!! It’s finally here!

Over the past 10 weeks the incredible young people and adults on imap community’s ‘Playful Estates of Mind” Play programme have worked hard learning and gaining an understanding of the

Now they have a chance to put into action what they have learnt at their very own Community Play Event!!!!

I am so proud of what they have achieved so far and how much work they have put in to making the day as playful as it can be.

Enfield residents of all ages come join us for a day of play at IMAP’s The BiG Play Date Event!
