Charmaine will share her reflections on findings and recommendations in the recently published Black Social Workers oral history project report, her reflections on practice, and thought-provoking lessons for the future of adoption and community work.

is back this month! ๐ŸŽ‰

We will be joined by the incredible Dr Ron Dodzro; a clinical psychologist who has an interest in developing creative, trauma-informed interventions that are accessible and meaningful for individuals and communities.

With his interest in dissemination, he has researched and written on the experiences of community violence in London, with features in Forbes, The Voice, The Psychologist, The Clinical Psychology Forum, and various blogs. He has presented at conferences in the UK and internationally and provided workshops to the NHS and HMPPS.

One of his well-known works is a report named โ€˜The Life of A Top Boy: Community Trauma and Violenceโ€™ which amplifies the voices of those with first-hand experience of the community violence that dominates our headlines. It unpicks the psychological impact of community violence through a lens of trauma.
