Our Story

The picture above may look a bit outdated but this was the team when we first started back in 2005. Jose Maria and Rosana Liste, our Base leaders alongside Jose and Gabriela Galarza, their son in law and eldest daughter, their children plus three other workers arrived to South East London September 2005 just before starting their first DTS later that month. They left their homes, families and commodities to move into a new building alongside the young people that would later come and take part of the courses they ran, simply because God called them! Since then we have had 10 different properties, over 300 students (and counting), 15 ministries (and counting), 31 DTS’s 5 different second level schools, over 30 nationalities represented over time and currently having 48 full time staff.

Our heart and focus is to influence society in all its areas, and to bring God an his truth to life in our neighbourhoods and in the city of London. We live in a place that has the nations at its footsteps, London is a gift to us which is why we want to be more active and present in this society. We are a just another family in London, that looks weird but loves immensely. Our slogan is “Come join our family” and that is because we want to be family oriented. This base started with two families and has now shaped into one big family, with doors wide open to welcome all those who are longing to work and live a life in pursuit for God
