myplace Havering

myplace Havering myplace is a Youth and Community Building Myplace is a youth and community centre in Harold Hill, the London Borough of Havering.

It was built as part of the Harold Hill Ambitions Project, in partnership with the Local Authority and Big Lottery Fund. Young people are at the heart of everything the building does and have been involved with myplace, from its design and construction to the activities it runs. The aim of the building is to encourage young people to engage in positive activities in a safe environment. The London

Borough of Havering’s Youth Service is based in the building. The Youth Service delivers a packed programme of activities for the local areas young people to enjoy, including; youth clubs, sports, Duke of Edinburgh, youth action, music and arts projects. myplace serves the community by providing a welcoming space for Havering residents to visit for educational, cultural and social activities. The building boasts dance and performance space, a recording studio, games room, mycafé, art room, workshop space and computer suite. We provide counseling, health, information, advice and guidance for young people and the community. The centre has a number of partners who offer their services to the public; these include Job Centre Plus, NHS, Barnados and Mind. Please feel free to come in to see the building and meet our friendly staff who will be happy to give you a tour and outline our current activities.
