Vice President for Moot Court Competitions:

- Encourage students to participate in mooting competitions, including the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, European Human Rights Moot Court Competition, and Commercial Law Moot Court Competition.
- Organise and sign up teams for the moot court competitions, and oversee their progress.
- Participate in moot court competitions yourself.
- Design and organise a moot court competition aimed at LSE students. This can be in collaboration with other LSE societies, e.g. Law Society.

Vice President for Academic Activities

- Organise the Negotiation Competition in February 2022 in collaboration with other LSE societies, including Negotiation Society.
- Encourage students to write articles for the ELSA Law Review and/or set up an ELSA LSE Law Review.
- Decide the research topic for the Legal Research Group. This can be done in collaboration with other ELSA groups in the UK and abroad.
- Oversee LSE students' participation in academic competitions and essay competitions throughout the year.

Vice President for Seminars & Conferences

- Organise two seminars on a current legal topic/issue to be held in Michaelmas Term and Lent Term. You will decide the topic and invite the speaker(s) to give the seminar at LSE or virtually. Each seminar should be 1-3 hours long.
- Organise a conference on a current legal topic/issue. You will decide the topic and invite the speaker(s) to give the conference at LSE or virtually. The conference should consist of 2-3 talks on a topic spread over several days. This can be done in collaboration with other ELSA groups in the UK and abroad.
- You could also organise career talks/presentations.

- STEP Traineeships are an opportunity for students to gain legal work experience abroad.
- Hold a presentation about STEP Traineeships and how to apply in November and May.
- Encourage students to apply for STEP Traineeships.
