Merry Christmas from Waste Not Want Not Battersea! We’ve had a fantastic day hosting our annual Christmas Cookout—this year teaming up with the iconic .

The day was magical, the team was wonderful, and it feels like the start of a beautiful future. Together, we provided over 350 meals for local people in the stunning Grand Hall and delivered meals to families in the evening. ❤️

🎄✨ After 8 incredible years of running Christmas Day food preps, we’re beyond excited to announce that this year, we’re teaming up with to serve both their and our Christmas Day celebrations in the iconic !

This day is about more than just food—it’s about opening our hearts to the unhoused and the forgotten, creating a space where everyone feels embraced, included, and celebrated. Even if it’s just for one day, we’re ready to share the true magic of Christmas with love, warmth, and community. ❤️

A coffee shop in Kent, UK. has made the brave decision to only serve customers who bring their own cup to the store, and to illustrate why they are doing this they filled their store floor with disposable cups.
Otto's Coffee House & Kitchen hopes its new policy will inspire other coffee shops to follow suit around the world.
