What do you get when you mix beginner golf, great prizes, a wet Sunday in Leeds and brilliant ladies??
A fun, and very successful fundraiser! (No joke)

Huge thanks to Shelian Craig for putting so much hard work into the planning, and for the wonderful players for making it such a fun event (despite the torrential rain at times!)

The highs and lows of a national championships, the cheers, the tears, the wins, the upsets... and we're here through it all.
Everyone loves a raffle and to give back to the sport we love, so come visit us at the Sir David Wallace building entrance, through rain or wind!

We will be at the EMMNA national championship this weekend (Fri-Sun) at Loughborough uni, so if you're there please come say hi.
We'll be by the EMMNA merchandise.
Let's hope it's as sunny as it was last time we were there!!

Without a typical 'tour' this year, the team in Kenya designed their own training for their volunteers and kids. With Julie (UK team) joining virtually, and local experts sharing their knowledge, they covered fundraising, proposal writing, and today starts the sessions on umpiring and coaching.
A brilliant job by the leadership team. Thank you for your continued dedication.

Netball Aid 2026 (https://netballaid.co.uk/) is an incredible day out and an opportunity to watch celebrities play netball while fundraising for Shelter…what’s not to like?!

We're delighted that fundraising twins Hattie and Alice (14) have chosen to support the ‘Seat Saints’ campaign again (https://netballaid.co.uk/netball-aid-2025/seat-saints/), through an independent fundraising initiative with us. Seat Saints provides opportunities for children and young people who might not otherwise be able to attend Netball Aid. Here they are to introduce the idea: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NwiuTI9lyPI

You can help by donating to us and we will then pass a large chunk of that to support Seat Saints – so you’ll be supporting our ongoing work in Uganda and Kenya, as well as gifting seats for Netball Aid - Winwin.

This week we're so proud of our teams in Uganda (Mwino sports 4 development) and Kenya Netball Development Trust Kenya.

They've both written brilliant long term plans for the growth of their organisations, they've continued delivering netball and health messaging in their communities...all while working and studying and living their own lives and volunteering for us. The world really is run by kind volunteers!
..watch this space for new tshirt designs in Uganda designed by the kids.
