Child Poverty Action Group works on behalf of the one in four children in the UK growing up in poverty. We use our understanding of what causes poverty and the impact it has on children’s lives to campaign for policies that will prevent and solve poverty – for good. We provide training, advice and information to make sure hard-up families get the financial support they need. We also carry out high profile legal work to establish and protect families’ rights.

One of our amazing fundraisers, Ann, took on the Round The Houses 10k race in Grangemouth. Ann raised an incredible £750, making a real difference to the lives of children and families living in poverty in the UK🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️

When asked why she decided to run for CPAG, Ann said:

“It’s not right that so many children in the UK live in poverty. I know CPAG can make a difference. That’s why I’m running 10k to raise money. You can help make a difference too, by making a donation“

One of our incredible fundraisers, Shanaz, will be taking on the North Downs 50 Ultra Challenge, running 15 miles from Dorking to Guildford🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️

When asked why she decided to run for CPAG, Shanaz said:

“No child anywhere on this earth should ever go hungry and go without food, clothes, toys, an opportunity at education and a happy childhood.“
