The Kachin Relief Fund (KRF) successfully raised £3,500 through the Walk for the Kachin IDPs fundraising event.

We are pleased to share that KRF has donated MMK 23,560,000 (Burmese Kyat ) to support Kachin internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Manmaw.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, donors, volunteers, and community members for your generous support. Your kindness and solidarity are making a real difference in the lives of the Kachin people.

While the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator could visit Myitkyina due to the absence of active conflict, many internally displaced people (IDPs) in Bhamo and Sagaing are still facing severe hardship and urgently need humanitarian assistance.
Kachin Relief Fund is working tirelessly to reach vulnerable communities in Bhamo and Sagaing, delivering much-needed support to those affected by the ongoing crisis.

“Thank you for generous contribution, The Kachin Relief Fund was able to fund the repair and restoration of the residential shelters at Bhamo RC IDP Camp 2, which were damaged by the severe storm that struck on 28 March 2026. Furthermore, KRF was able to distribute humanitarian assistance to displaced children and elderly residents of RC IDP Camp 1 and Camp 2.”
