Creative Writes

Creative Writes Creative Writes workshops are small, supportive, motivational & tailor-made. Content includes short story, character work, word games & poetry.

There are no more than 10 people in the group and there is no feedback on the writing - this is to build our confidence and enable us to write freely. We give you space to write. We also offer one to one Masterclasses and Skype Workshops.

It was all about the kitchen table at our Creative Writes Saturday Writes Club today. We even had a special guest 🐝:)

The cake and company were perfect and we took inspiration from poetry and our own memories.

Thanks so much for coming SK Downing Katty Grooves Mimma Mendola

As we usher in Autumn, join me at Creative Writes for 1:1 or 2:1 Online Masterclasses.

Our Masterclasses have been a part of the Creative Writes programme since it began in 2009. I am honoured to have worked with several writers on a huge range of form and personal projects, including poetry, memoir, short story and novels.

2:1 Masterclasses are for any pair who would like to book and work together. I have worked with mothers & daughters, couples and friends.

We currently have 1 hour slots available 4-7 Mondays & Fridays and some weekends.
