We’re excited to share that has awarded Alford House a £50,000 grant towards Phase 2 of our Alford@70 refurbishment project! 🙌

This incredible support builds on the £100,000 they generously gave us for Phase 1 — funding that helped us transform key parts of our building and create brighter, more inspiring spaces for young people. 💛

Thanks to the Garfield Weston Foundation, we can continue improving our facilities, expanding opportunities, and ensuring that Alford House remains a place where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

We can’t wait to see what Phase 2 will bring! ✨

We’re thrilled to announce that has awarded us a generous £150,000 grant to support Phase 2 of our Alford@70 refurbishment project! 🎉

This funding will help us continue improving our spaces for young people, creating even more opportunities for fun, learning, growth, and community connection. 💛

This is what we were able to achieve through Phase 1 (📸 see photo!) — we can’t wait to see what Phase 2 will look like as we build an even brighter future together.

Achievement Runs in the Family! 🌟
We’re thrilled to celebrate Isis for winning the Jack Petchey Achievement Award this year! 🏆✨

Just like her brother Oscar, who received the award back in April 2021 for his outstanding contributions, Isis has gone above and beyond in her own right.

Since joining Alford House, she has dedicated nearly 300 hours to the club, supporting Clive, our resident PT and youth worker, in running the gym. Isis has been recognised for the energy, leadership, and positivity she brings to every session!

The Jack Petchey Award recognises young people who overcome challenges, achieve personal triumphs, and make a real difference in their community — and Isis embodies all of that. Seeing two siblings inspire, lead, and give back in such meaningful ways reminds us of the incredible impact young people can have when they dedicate themselves to their community. 💪

We couldn’t be prouder of Oscar and Isis — a family showing what commitment, kindness, and leadership can achieve. Here’s to inspiring others and making great things happen! 🌟
