Chickenshed Kensington & Chelsea Chickenshed Kensington & Chelsea is an exciting inclusive organisation comprising a children’s theatre, youth theatre and adult company.

Together we make theatre come alive. Chickenshed is an inclusive theatre company with 40 years' experience in teaching and creating theatre. We are renowned for presenting beautiful and inspirational work using our unique creative process, which places the individual at the heart of all we do. This ethos shines through in our performances, where everyone comes together to share a stage and create

exciting, original and life-changing theatre. This year we have launched a new programme in Kensington and Chelsea so we can offer more people the chance to get involved. Based at the Wharf Rooms in SW6, we run vibrant and inclusive theatre workshops for children, young people and adults aged 16+. Drawing from the energy and enthusiasm of the members, our highly skilled practitioners will work with the group to invent and explore drama, dance and music. During the year there will also be regular opportunities for friends and family to see workshops, presentations and performances created by the members.

General information

News update: Our youth theatre will begin with an energetic project that shouts their loves, their worlds and their hopes. Using movement, drama and sound we’ll create a whirlwind performance to say who Chickenshed Kensington & Chelsea are and will be. Later in the term our children’s theatre will link across London with Chickenshed’s production of Cinderella. Children's Theatre 2: 7-11 years
Tuesdays at 5.15 - 6.30pm

Youth Theatre: 11-17 years
Wednesdays at 6.30 - 8pm

Adult Theatre: 17+ years
Tuesdays at 7 - 8.30pm
