☢️ Thank you to everyone who joined us this week for Canada-UK Nuclear Day 2026 at Canada House

We were honoured to open the event with remarks from H.E. Bill Blair, High Commissioner of Canada to the United Kingdom, followed by a keynote address from Michael Shanks MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, highlighting the importance of Canada-UK collaboration in advancing the future of nuclear energy

Throughout the day, leaders from industry, government and academia explored how Canada and the UK can work together to move from ambition to delivery

Key themes included:
✔️ Building public confidence through community engagement and Indigenous partnership
✔️ Delivering advanced nuclear projects through supply chain readiness, workforce development and international collaboration
✔️ Advancing Canada-UK cooperation in fusion research and deployment

🤝 Yesterday morning, we were delighted to host a roundtable discussion with the Premier of Saskatchewan, Scott Moe, and a number of our members

The conversation highlighted the strength of the Canada-UK relationship, the importance of building partnerships rooted in community, and the opportunities for deeper trade and investment between our two countries. We also heard valuable insights from Sheldon M. Wuttunee on the role Indigenous communities play in driving long-term economic growth and successful project delivery
