Stour Space is an amazing gallery and studio complex in the heart of Fish Island, Hackney Wick that is under threat from greedy landlords and ever increasing rent in London. Don't let this beautiful space and all their hard work go to waste.
They need to raise the eye-watering sum of £50,000 to pay off their landlords, extend their rent and try a save the space. We need Stour Space, it has become a cultural centre for the local community, providing workshops, events, exhibitions and affordable studio space for many local artists.
We urge everyone who cares to please give generously if you can. It doesn't need to be much maybe just a couple of quid but every little helps!

Stour Space is one of the first Asset of Community Value buildings in the UK, and is under threat due to regeneration. We are a civic space, local polling station, we support low income individuals & bring our community together. ❤️
** We are asking our community & supporters & friends for support in these final stages, to keep the building open so we have another year of public events/workshops/community nights and exhibitions, as well as keeping our studio members and cafe in their current spaces.

We've got details of a couple of super exciting fundraisers to share with you ASAP but in the mean time please do help however you can to keep this space open and functioning for the HWFI public and local residents and our very own in-house community.
