Always a busy time when the children have picked up their books and have got back into their lessons in the Autumn term. For these children it is only made possible by the sponsors who find it in their hearts to take responsibility for a child in Africa.

This week our older children will be taking their exams and hopefully graduating. We have been able to support them with extra lessons this year to help prepare them for this important year. Good luck to them all!

Having been unable to drive lately due to injury it has been amazing to get lifts off lovely people to make it to Worsley Women’s Networking last Friday and Aura Conscious Connecting today to talk about the charity and gain more support. Thanks for your support, it means the world to us ⭐️.

Now would be a really great time to start sponsoring a child with me if you would like to? We are looking at registrations for school and we don’t have enough sponsors to pay for all the children to go back to school this September. I need another 10 sponsors at £25 or £30pm.

Our thoughts go out to four children in our Lily community who have lost their mother. They lost their father in 2020 and this leaves them in a very vulnerable position with nobody to care for them. We are doing all we can to support them but we are a tiny charity with limited funds. Please consider sponsoring one of the children or donating to our charity www.lilyforthecongo.org
