‼️NEW MEMBER ALERT 🚨‼️

We are thrilled to introduce Aida Rayegani, a vibrant new member of our Azerbaijani Women’s Association in the UK!

Aida is a 21-year-old university student, soon to graduate with First Class Honours in Business and Management from the University of Leicester.

This September, she’ll be embarking on a Master’s degree in International Real Estate and Planning at University College London.

Though she was born and raised in London, Aida has strong Azerbaijani roots and visits Baku every summer. She’s excited to connect with fellow Anglo-Azerbaijanis and enhance her Azerbaijani and Russian language skills.

Aida is not just academically driven; she’s also a talented musician, holding a Grade 5 ABRSM piano certification and playing the guitar. Her love for photography shines through on her Instagram where she shares stunning portraits and street shots, even winning the Rowley-Pierce prize!

An avid traveler, Aida has explored 28 countries, but her true passion lies in dance. As a Novice IVDA Ballroom and Latin dancer on the Northern Circuit (soon joining the Southern), she also dances Salsa and Bachata. She is the Co-Founder and Vice President of the University of Leicester Salsa Society , where she has successfully grown the community to over 80 students per class in just two years!

Aida is eager to share her passions and connect with all of you. She hopes to be inspired by our community and, in turn, become a role model for fellow Azerbaijani young women in the UK.

Please join us in welcoming Aida to our community! 💖✨

‼️ROYAL ASCOT 2026‼️

In 2026, Ascot, the iconic horse racing venue in the UK, had the distinct pleasure of welcoming a vibrant group of guests from all over the world and ladies from the Azerbaijani Women’s Association in the UK were not an exception.

This remarkable visit was not just about horse racing; it was a celebration of culture, empowerment, and international camaraderie.

The Royal Family

Adding to the significance of the day, His Majesty the King made a special appearance at the event.

His presence brought an air of excitement and prestige, highlighting the importance of cultural exchange and community engagement.

The guests and ladies from the Azerbaijani Women’s Association were honored to have the opportunity to see His Majesty and other representatives of royal family.

This moment not only enriched their experience but also underscored the royal family’s commitment to fostering national traditions such as royal Ascot as well as develop international relationships through the soft diplomacy and events of that range.

Benoit Blin

A quintessentially British experience that complemented the day was the tradition of afternoon tea.

This delightful ritual offered a chance to savor an array of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, and an assortment of pastries, all served with fine teas.

The ladies enjoyed this charming custom, providing an opportunity for relaxed conversation and connection as they reflected on the day’s events and shared stories from their respective cultures.

Longines

Adding to the elegance of the day, Longines, the prestigious Swiss watchmaker, served as the official time partner for the event.

Known for their expertise in horology and a longstanding association with equestrian sports, Longines showcased their exquisite timepieces, emphasizing precision and style.

The partnership enriched the atmosphere, aligning perfectly with the tradition and sophistication of Ascot.

Attendees had the chance to learn about the craftsmanship behind Longines watches, further blending the worlds of fashion and sport.

Under the magnificent roof of Ascot, ladies and gentlemen from all over the globe came together

‼️NATIONAL DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN ‼️

We are deeply honored to express our gratitude to the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Mrs. Lala Abdurahimova for the invitation to the reception celebrating the Independence Day of Azerbaijan.

One more memorable celebration at London’s historical building, magnificent Lancaster House!
