The Anti-Tribalism Movement is a non-profit organisation aimed at educating and raising awareness about the effects of tribalism within communities. The ATM's vision and track record are based on a cohesive and dynamic society where every person’s opinion is valued regardless of clan, gender or political belief.

🚆This week we took our group of young people to the London Transport Museum Depot for a fun workshop writing poems and a private tour of the museum’s hidden items.

Inspired by the findings and themes from our 2024 Lead and Be Led social action campaign research report, ‘Navigating London’, the workshop presented our group the opportunity to explore pre experiences of London through poetry. It also marked the 40th anniversary of ‘Poems on the Underground’. ✍️🚇

💡The poems created from this workshop will be displayed at the London Transport Museum Depot’s Open Day with a chance to create more poems inspired by our group’s work!

Be sure to visit the depot and contribute with your own creativity from the 25-27th September.

This International Youth Day, we’re celebrating the young people who joined our community and gained valuable skills for their future.

At ATM, we’ve seen first-hand what happens when young people are given the right support, opportunities, and encouragement. They grow in confidence, discover their leadership potential, and become future leaders.

We’re proud to stand alongside the next generation as they design creative social action campaigns to combat the challenges young Londoner face such as tackling youth loneliness, lack of opportunities and the cost of living crisis.

To all the young people making a difference, today is for you. Keep leading, keep learning, and keep believing in the influence you can have.

We’re hosting another workshop at the London Transport Museum London Transport Museum! Join us as we write creative poems inspired by our Young Leaders’ research report.

You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a private tour of the depot, where your poetry will be publicly displayed in December.

We were honoured to be invited to the inaugural Somalia National Pavilion preview at the 61st La Biennale di Venezia!

SADDEXLEY is a beautiful showcase of Somali contemporary art, featuring , and , as a love letter to Somali culture and poetry. Inspired by the themes of home, land and sea, SADDEXLEY will be exhibiting until the 22nd of November 2026.

We extend a heartfelt hambalyo to the curators, artists, contributors and community for bringing SADDEXLEY together. We are proud to see Somali culture being represented authentically and experienced internationally!

In the spirit of Mental Health Awareness Week, we are taking a moment to pause and reflect together at Culture House.

This Friday, we are hosting a coffee morning for parents and adults to take a break and enjoy refreshments in a supportive space to talk about wellbeing and mental health.

We will also be sharing information and signposting to services available across West London for anyone who may need additional support.

Around 39% of young people in London don’t have opportunities to meet new people or make friends. This campaign intends to create a space for friendship and fun through stand-up comedy, poetry and more!
